Heat Pumps have really come of age.Today, with the advent of Titanium Heat Exchangers, these heaters are nearly impervious to pool water chemistry, making them very reliable. Titan Heat Pumps will typically provide 4 to 5 units of free energy for each 1 unit of energy consumed to operate, depending on the air temperature and humidity. Model Ti2 made by Titan has a rated output of 85,000 BTUs per hour and a running amperage of 16 amps at 230 volts.
