Since we started, Edgil Pool Services Ltd. has worked in partnership with Mursatt Chemicals to educate our staff and our customers in the hows and whys of providing safe, healthy, water for you, your family and your friends.
There are many different methods of treating your pool or spa chemically. They vary in cost and ease of use. Please discuss your needs or problems with our staff and they will set you up with a program that works for you.
We offer FREE water analysis. Bring us a sample, preferably in one of our free sample bottles, but a drinking water bottle will do. We need at least 500ml of water. Pool water must be circulated for 24 hours before taking a sample. Spa water only needs a ½ hour. Take the sample at elbow depth in front of the skimmer. We will test the sample while you wait. It takes about 5 minutes.We have a bulk liquid chlorine tank. We will only fill approved containers that are in good condition, properly labeled and have never contained any other chemical. We have 10 and 20 litre containers available. Our staff will do their best to help you prevent chlorine spills but we cannot take responsibility for any damage to your vehicle.
Chemical Safety

- Always add chemicals to water, NEVER water to chemicals.
- NEVER mix two chemicals together.
- Store and handle chemicals with care; most are dangerous and toxic.
- Keep them out of reach of children.
- NEVER add chemicals to the pool while it is being used.
